Weyrlings Take Wing - 4/1/20
Do you love Dragons? I've wanted to make this piece for the longest time. I visualized four baby Dragons, fresh-hatched from swirled eggshells, each greeting Existence in a uniquely personal way. Red in inquisitive. Blue is graceful. Yellow is fearless. And Purple is lovable. Each one is gumpaste over a wire framework, lovingly painted with Magic Colours dusts. And as befits Weyrlings, they all sport Magic Colours Metallic Paint markings. Inside each eggshell, the remaining magic appears as glittering rainbow dust piles. I also visualized that Dragons are attracted to highly-energetic clear Quartz, not gold, to build their Weyrs in, and that Gold simply occurs frequently alongside such crystaline outcrops....here sugar crystals that resemble the purest quartz. I hope you love them as much as I do! STAY SWEET
