How Much are your Cakes?
I do not make Cakes, I accept Commissions
Sculpted Cakes begin at $350 and go up based on complexity of the design and time spent, as opposed to number of servings. Wedding Cakes begin at $750 and ALL cakes are quoted on an individual basis
How much for the Rainbow Pegacorn Cake?
The original fed approximately 20-30, and as shown is priced at $800. Local delivery is included.
Please inquire for variations.
How did you make the Pegacorn/is there a Tutorial?
The Pegacorn is made from a carved cake body with a RKT head. The Wings have a wire inside. The Baby is solid fondant. There is a tutorial available in our webstore, under the"Art2 SHOP" - link to your left
Do you do tastings?
We do not. All cake, buttercreams, syrups, etc are all made fresh for each cake. Tastings of multiple flavors requires some freezing of materials, which we feel cannot be representative of our flavors. Ganache available upon request.
Please visit our "Awards - Reviews" Page to see some of the happy responses of our clients.
Our Cake Artist is quite picky - your cake will taste as good as it looks.
Do you use boxed cake mixes or bagged fillings?
No. All our cakes, buttercream, syrups and fillings are made in-house
from high-quality scratch ingredients.
What is your delivery range?
Delivery is free for the first 25 miles and $1 per mile round trip thereafter.
Calculated as part of your Custom Cake Quote in advance.
Do you do designs in Buttercream?
No. All designs are covered in Fondant or Modeling Chocolate...
OVER a thick yummy coat of buttercream. Feel free to remove the fondant - but we've found most don't
How far in advance do I need to order?
The best cakes need at least two weeks. Although your cake will not be baked/assembled until the last days before your event, sugar gumpaste needs time to dry well in advance. In addition the calendar fills quickly, sometimes months in advance.
Smaller Pre-Priced Existing Designs require at least a week of notice, but may incur Rush charges
depending on our calendar availability.
How do I confirm my cake and reserve my delivery date?
By making a 50% deposit on the final cost of your design and signing a Contract detailing the specifics of your Cake Sculpture.
You will receive confirmation upon receipt from Art2Eat Cakes admin.
***Your Event Date is NOT RESERVED until we have BOTH a full deposit and signed contract***
Can I pay in installments/Do You Offer Financing??
Yes we do!
PayPal offers up to 6months financing on purchases over $99 with their Bill Me Later program. When you go to pay your PayPal invoice to pay your Deposit/Final Payment, you will be offered the option to take advantage of this program while Checking Out.
Do you Offer Gluten/Sugar/Dairy/Peanut Free options?
We cannot offer Gluten-Free Certified Cakes, but we can make our usual cakes with Gluten-Free Flour. I (Heather) am also gluten-intolerant, so this is how I make my own cake!
I also offer Coconut Sugar as a low-glycemic option for those sensitive to sugar
in both cake and buttercream.
Dairy-Free cakes are not offered at this time.
<<NOT a wheat, milk, egg, or nut-free kitchen>>
Do you make toppers?
Yes! And ship them anywhere in the world. They are made from hardened sugar gumpaste. Flowers, Figures, name plaques, symbols are just a start. We can create entire Cake Kits, where all you do is apply custom decorations to your own cake.
Allow at least a month for best results and contact us for more information.
