I finally got to the Cake and Bake International Show in Birmingham, UK!! The Stars Aligned, and I found myself on a plane headed for the biggest show I'd been to yet. If you were elemental in my taking this Journey, I Thank You from the bottom of my heart.
I finally made it overseas to Birmingham UK to sew one of the biggest and most famous Cake Shows in the world. Wow! SO much to see! Over 800 entries and thousands of enthusiasts packed the aisles between so many vendors selling everything my Cake Art heart could possibly desire.
I did pack a sugar art piece (two Spiders🕸🕷 sisters Cailleach and Anansi) for the @sugar_screams Haunted House, and I did buy an Entry for the Competition. In the end I ran out of spoons, and realized it was hubris for my first International show, so I just enjoyed the ride, made connections, and tried to take it all i.
Attended the @cakemasters Awards, met sweet Lihi from @magic_colours_inside , got some of @eatcakeparty new paste 😋 I can't wait to try....
Like Disneyland, there is just too much Sweet to See in one trip. Guess I better start planning for next year!!!
