SDL Buddies on the Boulder Flatirons - 1-10-13 - SDL was having a corporate gathering here in Boulder, and their events coordinator needed a fabulous cake! She asked for a design with their mascot, Buddy, on top of the famous Boulder Flatirons. I was only too happy to oblige. After all, I could look out my window for reference! This cake was highly satisfying to make. Filled with always-good Vanilla Almond Pound cake and Swiss Buttercream. Everyone loved it reportedly, and some didn't realize it was a cake!
