Life was Sweet, and Niffler had discovered that there were treasures that did not sparkle. The day that Queenie walked into the bakery, Niffler realized that silky pink things were also yummy, and lightened her by one rosy scarf before she could notice. Now Niffler, from his cozy bed with sugary treat in hand, has a renewed perspective on the Value of Things, that soft and tasty treasures fill the soul just as well, even better, than bling, glam, and glitter.
His little face, grabby-grubby hands, and pinky feet are made from Magic Chocolate, and his fur is Caljava fondant. The Lace and Coins are made from flexible chocolate per Kimberly Chapman's recipe, dusted/misted with Magic Colours Metallic dusts and airbrush paint. I LOVE the pink metallic airbrush tint - so silky!!!
And before my numismatics begin to write me, YES, I'm aware these coins are all anachronisms, post-1970, but they were the only coins I could get my hands on to create a mold from. Be sure to check out the WHOLE collaboration www.facebook.com/birthdaymischiefmanaged
