From the Same Collab that Brought you Groot & Rocket, The Tick, and Deadpool+Thanos, here comes the Cake Con International! One of my all time favorite collabs, this group never fails to raise the bar each year. This year the group chose "Caricatures". I found myself inspired by the work of Denis Zilber, and his rendering of the fairy-tale Baron Von Munchausen, as he rides a cannonball across the battlefield straight out of a Storybook. To make the whimsy complete, I made him from Chocolate Cake and Almond Buttercream - a classic combo I felt the Baron would have appreciated! I felt he also would appreciate the way I cut him open, just to be silly...
